Creating an I-spy and Boat Maze game with Scratch

I Spy is based on the popular series of books, and later popular video game series, where the player identifies objects from a whimsical array of items that are on display. Students will learn how to create an array (or list) in order to keep track of the items/objects identified. An array is a special type of variable that can hold more than one value at a time. Students will design and develop a Boat Maze video game using the Scratch platform. Students will navigate a boat through the maze in order to reach the goal of getting to a treasure, all the while, they will need to avoid hitting the maze walls and avoid an enemy shark! Students will have to build in the sensing function in order to detect the maze walls and shark enemy. All functioning of the game will be designed and programmed by the student.
